What I find most amusing about a BLT is its name, with letters that stand in for words. I recently made a version of a BLT that I’m proud of, with “TB” instead of “B” and an addition of “A.” The special ingredient is tzatziki, a word that comes from the Modern Greek, much like the word “acronym” does.

  1. Kind of all at once:
    Toast the bread
    Lightly oil a frying pan and fry the turkey bacon pieces for 6 minutes, turning them over at the 3-minute mark
    Smash the avocado in a bowl, and set aside
  2. Then, spread the mustard on one slice of bread and the the tzatziki on the other, along with the avocado mash
  3. Layer your sandwich up with all other ingredients, in your preferred order
  4. Enjoy
