Willie Ip, Coffee for one

This is my favorite method to brew coffee for one, the cleanup is fast, and because it is an immersion brewer, it is somewhat forgiving to your particle grind size.

  1. Heat up water to boiling, let it sit for a couple of minutes
  2. Unscrew Aeropress cap, place filter inside, and run it under water to rinse.
  3. Preheat your mug with hot water too.
  4. Turn the Aeropress upside down, and pull the plunger all the way back
  5. Add the ground coffee into the chamber. If you don’t have a scale, it’s usually up to the 4.
  6. Pour hot water into the chamber, half way, and give it a stir.
  7. Wait 30 secs
  8. Fill the hot water to the top, and screw on cap with filter.
  9. Wait 2–3 mins
  10. Pour the hot water out of your mug
  11. Flip the Aeropress, so it is on top your mug.
  12. Press down
  13. Add water/milk/sugar/or whatever to taste
  14. Enjoy
